Made of Chrome-Vanadium Steel for hardness and durability Handle and adjustable jaw forged from one piece. It has also been heat-treated by quenching and tempering, which increases its hardness and strength, making it flexible and preventing it from cracking under extreme force.
The surface is chrome plated to prevent corrosion, which extend the service life and prevents the pieces from rounding.
The special handle with plastic cover increases sturdiness and resistance, allowing very high torque.
The jaws are also heat-treated and angled to grip the piece, providing a more ergonomic posture and higher torques. These jaws are specially polished to allow sliding in confined areas. The head is slimline to access tight spots.
The worm wheel is high-precision and the mechanism maintains the same opening even when high tightening force is applied. The opening can be adjusted very precisely and can also be easily changed. The worm wheel turns to the right.
The maximum opening of the jaws exceeds the minimum requirements by DIN3117 standard.
The head is millimetre-marked to set the opening.
By reversing the jaw it becomes ideal for tightening pipes, while in the normal position it’s suitable for tightening hexagonal nuts.
